Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Mainstay Arlington Concrete Construction, arlingtonconcreteconstruction.com, sales@arlingtonconcreteconstruction.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any estimate or work you arrange with Mainstay Arlington Concrete Construction, a concrete contractor based in Arlington, VA. If you use the site, call us or send us a request, you agree to these terms, so please don't use the site if you don't.

When we sign a written contract with you for a job, that contract controls wherever it differs from this page.

What we do

We build and repair concrete for homes and properties in Arlington and the cities around it. That includes driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations, retaining walls and decorative work. You'll find the full list on our home page and more about the business on our About page.

The site describes our work in general terms. It isn't an offer to do a particular job at a particular price, and we decide which jobs we take on after we've seen the site.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, in person and carry no obligation. We price a job from what we can see and measure when we visit, which covers the size of the area, its access, the removal of old concrete, the base work and the finish you choose.

Some conditions only show up once the old slab is out, such as soft or wet ground under it, buried debris or roots. If we find something like that, we stop, tell you what we found and agree any change in price with you in writing before we go on.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. If you ask for changes to the scope, size or finish after you accept, we'll price those changes before we do them.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We give you a start date when you accept the estimate, but concrete depends on the weather. We won't pour in rain, hard freezes or heat that would weaken the surface, so we may move your date and will let you know as early as we can.

A new slab needs time to cure, which is the wait while the concrete hardens and gains strength before it's used. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk and drive on it, and damage from using it sooner isn't our responsibility.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as soon as possible. Your written contract sets out any deposit, any materials already ordered and any charges for work already done.

Payment

Payment amounts, due dates and accepted methods are set in your written contract. Work may pause if a payment that's due under the contract isn't made.

Unpaid balances may lead to collection steps that Virginia law allows, including a mechanic's lien on the property where the work was done.

Warranties and what concrete normally does

Any warranty on our work is the one written in your contract, and we stand behind our work with our satisfaction guarantee as described there. We make no other promises, spoken or implied.

Concrete can show fine surface cracks, small color differences and changes in texture as it ages, even when it's built right. We cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, to keep cracks where they do the least harm, but we can't promise a slab will never crack.

Our warranty doesn't cover damage from overloading, early use before curing is done, de-icing salts, changes to drainage or grading after we finish, tree roots, ground movement or work done by others.

Information on this website is general and provided as is. It doesn't replace an on-site look at your property.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Virginia law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses tied to this website or our work, such as lost use of a driveway or patio while a job is underway.

If we are found liable for a job, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing here limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Settling disagreements

If you're unhappy with any part of our work, call us at (571) 760-4256 first, because most problems are settled faster in person on site. We'll come out, look at it with you and tell you what we'll do.

If we can't settle it that way, these terms and any dispute about them or our work are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal case will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Arlington County, Virginia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page. A change won't alter a written contract you've already signed with us.

Questions about these terms can go to us through our Contact page or by phone at (571) 760-4256.
